AI Changed Local SEO
Once upon a time, a business owner thought Local SEO was simple. They added lots of keywords, invited Google to index their website, and waited to be found. It worked for a while… but then something changed.
Google search results started answering questions before anyone clicked on links. If their business is still on Google, why aren’t customers finding them? Why did visits drop?
Because AI had entered the story.
Google’s AI doesn’t look for keywords. It looks for helpful answers, fresh content, expertise, experience, and proof that a business is active.
So instead of giving up, the business made a few simple changes:
